Since 1988 the 200 Club of Bergen County has awarded over 1 million dollars in scholarship money to graduating high school seniors who are the child or stepchild of an active, retired or deceased Bergen County Law Enforcement Officer, Fire Fighter or Ambulance Corps member.  Applicants may qualify on their own merit if they are members in one of the three disciplines.

 

This program was developed as another way to give support to the families of police, fire and emergency medical personnel and rewards those students who have dedicated themselves to their community and civic pursuits and academics.

 

Many of our recipients have long since graduated and are now in their dedicated professions.  These students that had distinguished themselves during high school continue to do so after graduating college.  Our recipients are now working in a range of professions including medical, legal, engineering, education and the arts.

 

The 200 Club of Bergen County is very proud of the Scholarship Program and beyond helping the individual student we are making an important investment to the betterment of our future.

 

 

SCHOLARSLHIP APPLICATIONS WILL BE MAILED TO ALL BERGEN COUNTY FIRE, POLICE AND EMT DEPARTMENTS TO THE ATTENTION OF THE CHIEF/CAPTAINS.  ALL BERGEN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOLS IN BERGEN COUNTY WILL BE MAILED TO THE ATTENTION OF GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT.
